How do I find information about a specific study program?
Majors, Minors, and Programs of Study
UALR offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate degrees or programs of study. “U.S. News and World Report” ranked our professional law degree offered at the William H. Bowen School of Law among the top 20 law schools in the nation in the specialty of legal writing.

Departments
Do you know what you what you want to do after you graduate from college? If so, chances are we have a degree program that will help you meet that goal.
Sometimes matching our degrees with your career plan is easy. For example, if you want to be a visual artist. Then you can go to the Department of Art. Other times, it is not as simple. Use our Programs of Study page to find the appropriate department or school that will provide information pertaining to your desired degree.
Colleges and Schools
UALR has six colleges, a graduate school, a law school, several libraries, and unique research centers. Our colleges contain departments, schools, and institutes with a host of faculty who are top-notch educators and experts in a variety of disciplines. Small class sizes, a 14 to 1 student-to-faculty ratio, mean that you will not get lost in the crowd. There is certainly something for you here at UALR.

The Undergraduate Catalog and Graduate Catalog provide information about all of our degree programs. If you don’t know what degree you want to pursue, the catalogs also contain a lot of information that can assist you with that decision.
