President/CEO 

Mr. Adams serves as President/CEO of the Arkansas Research Alliance, a new economic development non-profits focused on increasing the identifying centers of research strength in the state, recruiting talent to those centers, dramatically increasing both state and federal investments in Arkansas based university research with the end result of creating more knowledge based companies in Arkansas. 

Mr. Adams retired in Oct. 2007 after 34 years with Acxiom Corporation serving in various senior leadership responsibilities.  His commitment to education is evident as he serves on the Executive Advisory Board of the Walton School of Business at the University of Arkansas, the Development Council of the University of the South, the Board of Visitors for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and the Advisory Board to the College of Business at the University of Central Arkansas, and the Board of the Public Education Foundation of Little Rock. 

Jerry Adams serves as the Board Chair of Accelerate Arkansas and the national Board of the EAST Initiative, and he has been appointed to the Blue Ribbon Committee on Higher Education and the Arkansas Public education Accountability Council.
