Recipient of UALR's highest honor, Department of Excellence

The Department of Speech Communication is located in the College of Professional Studies. We have a professional staff of thirteen faculty members. We offer the blue-ribbon core curriculum course in speech communication that is required of all students at UALR. The Department also offers an undergraduate major and a Master's degree in Organizational and Interpersonal Communication.Our Department also houses an interactive computer lab in support of our instructional efforts in the department. Our computer-based Decision Center is used by the university and community.
